The pilgrimage illustrates the Cyril and Methodius pilgrimage route from the Polish border to Pustevny, which I went on my own in the autumn. The book is my diary, a space for my thoughts and capturing intense experiences, an insight into my fantasies, dreams, imaginary mythology and ancient rituals. A space that describes the importance of pilgrimage routes and guides readers through ritual clearings, mysterious forests and meadows of the Beskydy countryside.
A total of fifteen paintings form the basic story, the skeleton of the book, emphasizing the key moments. Then I supplemented them with drawings and lightened the space of the book with them. Everything is completed by the text I have written, interspersed with poems. When creating the book, I took care of good craftsmanship and selection of quality materials, such as structured graphic paper, hand-sewn binding, quality printing.
